DRGA One Day - New Lands to Explore

The Wattsons have been exploring the reaches of Georgiabama and 40 Watt in virtual thanks to the Red Bird Rail. Now it is time to explore a new place, establish a new settlement and discover what awaits LIVE ONE DAY EVENT to introduce and explore a new venue, Rock Hill Castle in Barnesville, GA.

Rockhill Castle offers 22 acres of woods, fields, and a variety of other settings to make our post-apocalyptic world come to life. This is a rustic campsite. There are bathrooms and running cold water. Site allows campfires, gas camps stove, grill and campfire cooking, as well as tent and RV camping.

DRGA will be running content from 10 am to 10 pm, but ticket holders are welcome to camp Friday and Saturday night. Note, venue must be cleaned and vacated by noon.

Rock Out at Rock Hill

Okay folks, we have a new campsite to add to our tour! More playspace than A.H. Stevens, more trails than Indian Springs, and, well…. Just better than Camp Anklebreaker! We present to you Rock Hill Castle in Barnesville!

We are getting together OOC to let people check out the site and enjoy each other's company in the great outdoors. It is come and go as you please and free (no XP).

Bring coolers and food for the day. Cook over camp fire (that's first for DRGA! FIRE! SMORES! You can bring grills or camp stoves too. Outdoor cooking not your thing? There are dozens of restaurants and grocery stores under 10 minutes away.

Besides the great nerd company, there are acres (22) to explore, hammock, and play. There is also lawn chess. We'll be offering LARP combat practice (ok, maybe it will turn into a tournament), improv workshop, rule round table discussion too. Feel free to bring instruments to play.

The official gathering ends at 10pm but the site owners have let us know that if anyone wants to camp (rustic) out for the night they are welcome to.

October 1-3, has been moved to a virtual venue!

We're were looking forward to seeing everyone at A.H. Stephens State Park to pick up where we left off at the end of the August game, but the science and statistics in Georgia and surrounding states does not support that at this time. So we make the best of it and carry on - in virtual!

It’s all about the people around you. Natives and travelers alike interact in Roll20, as well as Discord text and voice channels as they work, learn, and battle together. Hang out or cook in one of the taverns; pull natural resources in the perimeter or farmlands; chat while crafting or repairing for each other at the crafting tables; chew the fat with a local Postie at Post/Public Works.

All dates are virtual at this time. When it is safe to return to live events, announcements will be made and dates may change with venue availability.
